The creators of the play put together the great music by Dmitry Shostakovich and the history of the great city on the Neva; the sounds of the composer's most iconic works, written there, in the cradle of Russian culture, with the sounds of his era. Through the flow of time and the change of historical events and cultural contexts, they linked the life of Dmitry Shostakovich and his creative path with the world of a modern viewer.
