This is the first time in Moscow, when Ivan Shmelev's most famous novel, The Lord's Summer that reveals the author’s life in pre-revolutionary Russia through the lense of childhood memories is staged. The play explores the theme of memory as the birthplace of the soul, bringing to life on stage flashes of memories filled with sensations, sounds, and smells.
