Mindaugas Karbauskis was born in 1972 in Lithuania. He studied on the actor's course with Egle Gabrenaite in the Lithuanian Musical Academy. In 1997 enrolled at RATI, and studied in director's group of the Petr Fomenko Workshop. Has has directed at RATI Pushkin's 'Rusalka' (2000), 'Hedda Gabler' by H. Ibsen (2001); at the Chekhov Moscow Arts Theatre 'Old-world Landowners' based on N. Gogol (2001), ‘Copenhagen’ by M. Frayn (2003); at the Tabakov Studio Theatre ‘Long Christmas Dinner’ by T. Wilder (2001), The Actor’ by T. Bernhard (2002).
