Gecko’s theatre is a highly energetic exploration of movement, led by the emotions and involving great athleticism, physical contact and endurance. The company includes Corinne Pierre, one of Europe’s leading aeralists, David Price, one of the UK’s most talented and versatile percussionists and James Flynn who has performed with Random Dance, Yolande Snaith Theatre dance and Vincent Dance Theatre.
The Theatre was founded in 2001. Its artistic directors are Amit Lahav and Al Nedjari.
An explosive piece of physical theatre, which makes a habit of bending the rules so far you forget about them all together. Nothing is as it seems in the warped wonderland that Gecko evoke. Their precision makes near impossible feats seem almost effortless.
