Never before circus has been present so vividly and convincingly not only as a performance space, but also as the main character of the performance, its driving motor, its air and its essence. This is a new experience of interpreting and presenting the classical story. Moscow Musical Theatre has undertaken to tell the audience the intricate story of despair and grievances, of treason and misunderstanding, of love and hope when all the feelings are reinforced by the hazards of the circus actors’ profession. Moreover, new characters have been introduced, which further highlighted the intrigue of the original story. Unique circus acts specially created for the show are performed by 12 circus professionals together with the principal characters of the show.
