Martina Wrobel was born in 1962 in Muenster. In 1988-89 assistant dramaturg at the Municipal Theater Augsburg. From 1989-1992 assistant director at the Municipal Theatre Augsburg. From 1992-1995 assistant director at Staatstheater Stuttgart. Since 1995 has directed at Staatstheater Stuttgart, since 1996 works free-lance. Productions: «Dirt» by M.l. The production has an originality of language; it is constructed on the deliberate contrast between daily barefaced desires and the magnificent playfulness around the theme of monologues of female essence. The production does not leave feelings of embarrassment or discomfort. Here everything is expressed not by bodies, but faces of superb actresses
