Alexei Borodin was born in 1942. In 1968 he graduated fr om GITIS (course of Yuri Zavadsky). From 1973- 80 he was chief artistic director of the Youth Theatre in Kirov, since 1980 chief artistic director and since 1989 art director of the Central Children’s (since 1992 RAMT-Youth Theatre). Among the productions directed here: Olesha’s 'Three Fat Men', V. Astafiev’s 'Forgive Me', A. Kazantsev’s Anton and Others...' (1981). V. Hugo’s Les Miserables' (1983, with A. Nekrasova), 'Alesha' by V. Ezhov and G. Chukhrai (1985), Trap 46. Size 2’by Yu. Shchekochihin (1986), V. Mayakovsky’s 'The Bathhouse' (1988), Shakespeare's King Lear' (1992), T.
