Chekhov Festival history in faces and productions presented on Old Arbat
From 9 June to 9 July, 2025 an open-air photography exhibition, "Theatre Arts of the BRICS Countries within the Chekhov Festival", is on display at 25 Arbat Street.
Over the years, productions from BRICS countries have delighted and astonished audiences. This year, our festival collection has been enriched with new performances. China and India have already taken the stage, but we still have much to look forward to: a marionette opera from Iran, a South African diva from South Africa, the adventures of Brás Cubas from Brazil, and much more.
