Play readings from BRICS countries held at St Petersburg United Cultures Forum
As part of the International St Petersburg United Cultures Forum, play readings of works by dramatists from BRICS countries were organised by the Theatre of Nations.
On the New Stage of the Alexandrinsky Theatre, plays by authors from Russia, China, Iran, Brazil and South Africa were presented. The plays were specially translated into Russian – the readings served as a unique showcase of contemporary dramatic material for directors and producers.
Karina Tsaturova took part in this dramatic pitching session, offering her support to the long-standing partners of the Chekhov Festival.
