Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent a message of greetings to the participants, organisers and guests of the 4th Pacific International Theatre Festival, describing it as one of the most successful projects in the field of international humanitarian cooperation.
“Your large-scale and, in many respects, unique creative forum is rightly regarded as one of the most successful projects in the field of international humanitarian cooperation. Without a doubt, it is a true highlight of the cultural life of the Russian Far East and the country as a whole,” the President said in his message, published on the Kremlin’s official website.
Putin noted that the festival brings together talented performers, directors and screenwriters from different countries, providing a platform for professional discussions and friendly exchange, while helping to strengthen both professional and personal ties.
“Of course, the festival also introduces audiences to high-profile premieres, outstanding productions and the distinctive traditions of national theatre schools, and invites them to take part in an extensive educational programme,” the President added.
Putin expressed confidence that the festival would be a festive and memorable event, give an inspiring start to new joint initiatives and leave everyone involved with warm and lasting memories. He wished the participants, organisers and guests inexhaustible inspiration and further creative achievements.
